Unity-aligned teachings are trending across a variety of demographics right now, but we’re not seeing that translate to in-person growth. Why? Because people don’t know to associate the Unity name with those teachings. In this workshop, Miranda will guide Unity leaders through a basic set of budget-friendly marketing and communication tools to help get Unity’s name out into communities and in front of those interested people. Participants will learn:

• How to research free community resources for promotion
• The benefits of Google Ad Grant & Facebook/Instagram Ads
• When, how, and where to use print materials
• Simple, effective outreach ideas
• Free and discounted tools available to work smarter, not harder

Presenter Miranda Baker, CSE serves as the Youth Director at Unity in Greensboro. She graduated from Elon University with a B.A. in Religious Studies in 2017 and completed Certified Spiritual Educator training with UWM in 2019. With a history of leadership within both the Southeast Youth of Unity and Next Generation Unity groups, Miranda now focuses on helping Unity communities bridge marketing and generational communication gaps to grow multigenerational outreach and leadership.
